I visited during the restaurant’s anniversary celebration when they were giving away their Fish n’ Chips. Hence, the amount I received was smaller than the standard size, but just enough for the price of nothing. The batter had a superficial crunch that gave way easily to the fish below; it was neither too crispy nor too thick, but I wished it was more flavourful. The fish itself was cooked perfectly. The chips were thick cut french fries with potato skin left on, and quite satisfying. I also had two of their fish tacos, Shrimp and Cali Baja, which I did pay for and found kind of skimpy. The tacos also reminded me that seafood is rarely fresh enough to be excellent in Toronto, though the shrimp fared better than the Cali Baja.
