Today’s instalment in our series of Korean Canadians in the Korean entertainment industry features Choi Yeo Jin.
Choi Yeo Jin was born in Korea, and moved to Canada when she was in middle school. She moved back to Korea shortly after launching her career as a model.
She moved into acting, shortly thereafter, and her latest role was in “Emergency Couple”, playing one of our favourite K-drama characters ever, superstar surgeon and all-around cool human being, Shim Ji Hye.
She also won “Dancing with the Stars” in 2012, in Korea, but instead of that, here’s a photo of her looking like she’s coming back from Narnia:
