Episode 8 of I Hear Your Voice
After Jang Hye Sung’s (Lee Bo Young) mother is murdered by the killer with a vendetta against the young lawyer, psychic teenager, Park Soo Ha (Lee Jong Suk) decides to take matters into his own hands. Unbeknownst to Hye Sung, Soo Ha plans to help avenge her mother.
Soo Ha and Hye Sung go to visit the aquarium, something Soo Ha had always wanted. He lies, claiming that he must say goodbye, because of school. But, before he goes, he has a few things to say. He tells Hye Sung that her mother was proud of her until the end, and that Attorney Cha likes her so she should admit that she likes him, too.
Finished with what he has to say, Soo Ha turns to leave. Hye Sung thanks him, then wishes him well on his studies. Soo Ha stops, unable to hold back the tears, and returns to stand before Hye Sung in order to say one last thing.
Soo Ha grabs Hye Sung by the waist and kisses her as tears stream down his face. Hye Sung is in a state of shock as Soo Ha pulls away to gaze lovingly at her face. She watches in silence as Soo Ha walks away with a grim, determined look.
This scene was one of the reasons that “I Hear Your Voice” is one of my favourite Kdramas. Viewers know that Soo Ha intends to sacrifice his future with Hye Sung in order to keep her safe, so his attempt to stay lighthearted while saying goodbye is heartbreaking. The scene toys with the emotions to perfection, making it appear that Soo Ha will leave without revealing his feelings, then having him come back to suddenly draw Hye Sung in for a smooch. Just perfect.

Noonas Over Forks 
This was the first drama that I had seen Lee Jong Suk or Lee Bo Young. I became instant fans of both. Now Lee Bo Young is one of my favorite actresses and LJS is gaining traction to making my best actor list.

I loved this drama as well. I thought it was enchanting how Soo Ah was devoted to Hye Sung all his life. I wanted slightly more material that convinced me that he had fallen for the adult version of her, too, but they were so well matched it didn’t really matter.
