We had Wafels & Dinges right by Central Park the last time we visited New York, and we hoped to run into the food stand on our latest visit. Happily, we found them at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge.
What we fell in love with was the slightly chewy texture and the heavy glazing of their waffles. It went perfectly with the comparatively light ice cream and strawberries.
