The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding in Dubai offers Cultural Meals during which questions about Emirati culture are answered. We attended the Brunch and were served coffee. They identified every item we were served, but I failed to take note. The food on my plate was somewhat familiar, but the flavours tended to veer towards sweet rather than savoury.
