Cluny Bistro

We dined at Cluny Bistro, a French restaurant in the Distillery District, as part of Summerlicious. The food was good, though surprisingly heavy for a summer menu. We decided to include the wine and beer pairings with our meal.

Braised Short Rib “Burger” – Celery root remoulade, tomato, frites
Paired with 11 Le Sacre, Janoueix, St-Emilion

Cluny Rillette
Smoked Trout Rillette – grilled sourdough, pickled tomatillo
Paired with Fin du Monde, Québec

Cluny Ricotta Salad
Spinach and Buffalo Ricotta Salad – Quinoa, wheat berry, quince dressing
Paired with Éphémère Poire, Québec

Cluny Pork Pot Roast
Moroccan Style Pork Shoulder Pot Roast – Apricots, fennel, tomato, couscous
Paired with 13 Chardonnay, Hidden Bench, Beamsville
