I did not have high hopes for Itsy Bitsy Ramen and Whisky. First off, the name is too precious, and secondly, the decor had a predictably hip chinoiserie that I found off putting.
However, the proof is in the noodles, and the ramen, both thick and thin, were surprisingly good. The miso and tonkotsu broth were very heavy and flavourful. To top it off, the braised pork remained tender.
I arrived with low expectations, but the ramen turned out to be much better than expected.
