Greasy Spoon was enthusiastically recommended to us by our tour guide, and even on a weekday, this brunch restaurant was filled nearly to capacity.
Above is the Rose Rosti – smoked salmon, poached eggs, potato rosti, and beet hollandaise sauce.
Below is smashed peas and mint, asparagus and prosciutto on sourdough. Peas were in season, so they were unbelievably flavourful.
Our tour guide did not lead us astray. It was a good brunch.
