Good sushi is hard to find in Toronto, due to a dearth of fresh seafood, and a restaurant industry based around cheap, middle-of-the-road spicy salmon rolls. Imagine our excitement at finding a place that prides itself on serving fresh sushi, but not at gourmet prices. It goes without saying that the sushi and sashimi were so good that we reenacted the orgasmic gorging scenes from “Let’s Eat”. However, we appreciated the obvious skill in the execution like perfectly cooked sushi rice at the right temperature. And, though the canvas was a disposable plastic tray, the dishes looked Instagram worthy.
And now, for some food porn.
