Noonas Over Forks is going to Seoul in 30 days! We’ve been learning Hangul, but with limited time, we will have to concentrate on useful phrases. Learn with us as we present 30 days of Cramming Korean.

Hello or Good Morning or Good Afternoon or Good Evening or Good Day – this does it all.

I have presented the polite form of the term, and will probably stick with this speech level for all words and phrases, as it is safer to be seen as having a stick up one’s butt than be perceived as rude. For more information regarding Korean speech levels, see this Wikipedia entry.
