A Korean fusion restaurant aimed at a younger clientele, Han Ba Tang offers twists on classics. Rather than come across as experimental, the dishes were all very satisfying. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Tacos, and the Mac and Gochujang with baby octopus.
Spicy Pork Tacos – house made special spicy sauce marinated pork neck, cabbage, red onion, kimchi aioli, cilantro
Crispy King Prawn – crispy King Prawn, deep fried onion, taro chips, habanero aioli
Kalbi Tacos – grilled kalbi, onion, red bell pepper, green onion, deep fried onion
Kimchi Fries with Bulgogi – pan fried kimchi, potato fries, herb mayo, chopped scallion, house made gravy, bulgogi
Black Calamari – calamari, roasted seaweed sauce, cucumber, Thai chili, dried baby shrimp
Pork Ribs – pork ribs, Korean date, jalapeno pepper, dried red pepper thread, walnut
Mac and Gochujang with baby octopus – macaroni, baby octopus, onion, green bell pepper, cheddar, mozzarella cheese, house made extra spicy sauce
