Linh Café

Brunch restaurants are surprisingly lazy in Vancouver so our choices were limited at 9am on a Saturday morning. We chose Linh Café, because it was open early, but also for the Vietnamese and French cuisine.

My significant other chose to go French with a Toulouse Breakfast – 2 poached eggs, white beans, house made sausage, bacon, chorizo, salad. It was rich without tasting heavy.

I chose to go with the Hanoi Breakfast: Pho(Phở) Bo – Beef noodle soup with braised beef flank and rice noodles. The noodles were firm and flavourful. The braised beef was not as fatty as I would have liked, but still good.

The restaurant had an easy going atmosphere that made the entire experience a great way to start the day.
